Well, you killed again at Clintfest, my friend. We had a great time and your set was one of the reasons why. You may want to consider brightening your wardrobe, though, with something a bit less drab . . . .

I enjoyed your story telling and music at the recent
CEOS meeting held at the WV State Fairgrounds, in
Fairlea, May 14th. Also, it is very interesting to
have information concerning the Davis-Stuart School.

Hi Mark,
I've got "Got A Secret" in my headphones "you guys are rockin". Your band was the highlight of a most enjoyable evening last weekend, and I'm glad Laura, Wil and I got to see you guys and to spend a little time with you, Josiah and Evan. You are a fortunate man. I'm enjoying your recording (thanks again!), but I enjoyed your band live even more. I really like your singing, man. Lots of passion.

Hey Mark! Can't tell you how much Andy and I enjoyed listening to you and your guys tonight. Wished you had a few more songs to play. We were very impressed and plan to catch another concert as soon as we can. Josiah...liked the tie and vest and was even more impressed with your talent. Evan...I wished I had the ability to play the instruments like you did, again very well done. To the rest of your guys, thank them for a real treat tonight. Keep up the great work and we look forward in seeing you again real soon. Thanks again

Last night I was privileged to see Mark Spangler and his baby faced boys in concert. Wow if you can get a hold of his new cd "Transition" or see him live yourself do it. I am dubbing him the voice, never a boring or tired lick or tune throughout the whole show. His son on drums reminded me of the cool yet proficient Ringo Starr. His older son on stand up and electric bass had an interesting stage presence and delivered a melodic bass rhythm that kept the house rocking. Neither cracked much of a smile but grooved through the night man! Check out... www.markspanglermusic.com for more info....Read More

My brother - once again you do not disappoint - it was my privilege to share the stage with you last evening and my great honor to be asked to perform your song, "The Day Will Come" . . . and to have you and Evan back me up completed the compliment and my joy.
It has been my good fortune to be able to know you as my friend, and as a songwriter and performer you have my utmost admiration, respect, and affection.
Always a pleasure and I look forward to the next time !

Mark
It was so good to see ya' again at Clintfest. I want ya' to know I have listened to Transition four time and with each time I hear something that I can relate to. I even dated a girl form the state of Maine for a couple of months way back when I was young and before Sally and I were to meet. On a scale from 1-10 I would give it an 18.
With warm Regards

Julie, from Trucker - Nora
When my sister listened to Transitions, she said: "you know that little tingle you feel when God hits you? I felt that when I listened to "The Day Will Come". As a trucker, I liked the one about "Far Away From Home", too and "How Is Your World". Tell him your sister loved it. I listened to the CD several times on my 16 hour drive back to Oklahoma. It is very entertaining.

We thoroughly enjoyed hearing your group at the Wild Bean. So much talent, such a great sound. We plan to order some CD's as Christmas gifts. We really want to share your music. The album is super (although I miss the saxophone. It is on one piece, I know. You guys were GREAT together!) I have it on my computer and really enjoy listening to it. Always something new to discover!
I also would like to say how much I love Hannah's voice. She is a phenon! I am sure she will have a great career in music. Thanks so much for playing at The wild bean. We hope to hear you again sometime.... Maybe at the Lewis Theatre??
Many blessings to all of you and I hope the Holiday Season is a special one for you.

The reason this CD has been such a blessing to me personally
is that Mark has written this album I think from where he is on the road
of life as a mature Christian. After this many years of living for the
Lord, he knows what it is to grow weary sometimes, to struggle, to see
yourself fail sometimes, and most importantly, to keep going back to the
Lord for forgiveness, knowing that He loves us and is walking by our
side on the journey.

I've enjoyed the new CD immensely, but "The Day Will Come" touches me in a
very deep way that makes knowledge and emotion collide with a force that
produces awe, joy, longing, hope and peace . . . for starters. At this
point, it's difficult for me to listen to it without becoming emotional.
As a musician I was drawn to "To Be With You" the very first time I ever
heard you do it - but I'm afraid I have a new "favorite Mark Spangler
song" in 'The Day Will Come'.

Mark, the Minor Prophets, the By Products, Fourkups-A-T, You guys are all great !! We have had so much fun listening to you at the coffee houses and love the latest CD. What Richard loves about Transitions is "The Day Will Come" - he is so impressed with the words (as am I). We love the variety of sounds in the different songs. A lot of songs on a CD from an artist tends to all sound the same, but not yours !! The variety of instruments, beats and voice register make it so great to listen to. "How Is Your World" makes me cry every time I listen to it because it reminds me of the work we do at Davis-Stuart. Hannah's voice lends a special quality to it. I can't believe you guys have so much talent in one family, either ! I hope this breaks big in the music world - it should. You should make millions !! Mom & Alan & I were listening to it on a long drive and Mom said "I can't believe that's Mark". She was a very impressed 85 1/2 year old. I'm making sure I give this CD as Christmas gifts to my family all over the country. You guys deserve to make it big. Keep singing/playing ! Love you, Julie, Richard, Mom & Al

"New England Lady makes me cry no matter how many times I play it. It
is so loving. So beautiful! This album is precious to me for
that reason especially.

Transition is wonderful! Track after track, I enjoyed the blend of instruments and voices. My mom loves "How is Your World". My favorite track is "To Be With You". I Really enjoyed the Sax on "We've Never Been This Way". The mandolin in "New England Lady" is great! I can't wait to hear you play these songs in September. Thank you, and take it easy.
